Equal doesn’t have to be identical
If it was so…
The ether was similar to earth
The fire and water were akin
Like two fraternal twins
The Yin and Yang stood for the same
Not symbolizing the duality of nature,
Just two discrete names.
Earth adorns a white bridal veil each winter
Autumn she rests and hibernates
Spring impregnates the seed in her womb
Come summer it grows and germinates
A perfect harmony then, nature reverberates
Ever wonder…
If the cosmos goes askew
And orbs go astray
The sun decides not to rise
The days would get swallowed by nights
No light, no life, no time would hold
The universe will be a one big black hole.
But that’s not what makes the world go round
For zillions of light years what keeps it abound
The Universe subsists and gravity sustains
The orbs revolve, in orbits they remain
Fire, water, air and wood
All respect each other’s protocol
Each element sings its note
The quintessence of existence
Lies in playing their Equal Vital role
Actually…
Equal was never meant to be Identical
But equally relevant
Contrary but complementary
Distinct yet interconnected
Symbiotic but apart
Muscle to move the body
And blood to warm the heart
You need a fine amalgam
To reach a common goal
To give birth to a new life
And make that indivisible whole.
